This week - let’s look at what business happiness looks like.

I’ve had two very similar coaching sessions in the last week with amazing business owners. I’ve been working with both of these gentlemen for the past 3+ years and both businesses have sales at the $800,000 plus mark. Both business owners expressed to me that they’re loving what they’re doing. Both are very aware of the opportunity and the upside of selling the businesses today, or in the near future. And both business owners ask me the same question “Why would I do that?”

When you have a business and it’s dialed in - it’s effective and efficient. Your teams and people around you are creating amazing results. You have happy customers and raving fane. You have good revenues and great profitability. Let’s face it, those are the types of businesses that if you were to purchase a company, you’d want.

But of course, these are also the same businesses that are revenue-generating for a business owner and fun to operate day-to-day.

What makes these types of entrepreneurs and business owners successful?

It comes down to three main things.

First of which is understanding WHY they’re in business.

The second is asking themselves what metrics they need to have full visibility of - and how they can get those metrics in real-time, so they can action upon them.

The third is having a business plan - I like to call it the Business Blueprint - that they review on a monthly basis with someone that can hold them accountable.

If you’d like more information about these three key success strategies, then I’m going to post a link below, where you can find out more information.

If you run a business and you desire to get to the $800,000 revenue per month level - then there are a number of key marketing and sales strategies that need to be implemented.

If you are approaching that level but still not having fun with your business. If your business is not bringing you happiness. If you’re not living your passion, then we need to focus on the people and processes around you.

Now it’s your turn. What’s your focus for 2021? Any good advice for others? Post here – I would love to know.
